Respiratory Illness Prevention

Fall has arrived and as always has brought with it a host of respiratory ailments. We have started our fight against Flu, RSV, and Covid by offering our patients the opportunity to be vaccinated as indicated. We have started our Flu clinics and are offering vaccines during office visits as able. Our providers support and encourage flu vaccination for most of our patients and after ample consideration including shared decision making with parents often recommend the Covid vaccine as is recommended by the CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Our providers also take into consideration the needs of our youngest patients and their risk for RSV infection, and offer/encourage RSV vaccination as indicated. The goal of each vaccine is to prevent moderate to severe infection that our youngest population is most vulnerable to. Please call the office or use our online scheduling to schedule vaccines this season.

After much consideration, and after a fair trial period, our office has made the tough decision to discontinue the use of our in-office check-in kiosk. We appreciate your patience and leniency as we attempted to make our check-in system easier and more streamlined. We are sad that it did not meet the needs of our office and more importantly our families the way we had hoped for and expected, but we feel this is the right choice at this time.

We will, however, maintain our 'outside' of the office process of checking in. So, we ask that upon arrival our patients continue to wait in their vehicle before being called in. This is to keep from overcrowding in our busy office and more particularly, to help prevent the spread (over-sharing) of germs. We believe this will aid to a more personable feeling and ease of use as our patients and families arrive for their visit. It is always our aim to make each visit the best possible visit, and we are committed to providing excellent care for every patient, family, staff member and our entire community. We know that without YOU, there is no US! So, sincerely, we thank you for choosing us!

For all physicals completed beginning 10/1/24 and after: Patients will be given a copy of our universal physical form at the time of their physical.

Please make a copy for yourself, take a picture on your phone, save it on your home computer, etc. for future need. Any additional copies throughout the year will incur a $5.00 fee at the time of request to pick them up in the office, fax, email, or mail home. Portal requests for a copy will not incur a charge (ages 0-11 years and 18 years and over).

In addition, any camp forms or college forms that need to be completed can be shared through the portal (ages 0-11 years and 18 years and over ) or picked up in the office free of charge. The forms can be faxed, emailed or mailed home for a $5.00 fee at the time of the request.
